Dr. Patel has modified the traditional All-On-4 approach based on his experience, carefully analyzing each case and basing treatment on the patient's individual anatomy. Temporary fixed bridges are attached while your implants integrate with your jawbone and your mouth heals.
Once healing is complete, your final teeth are crafted from zirconia, which is stronger, more natural-looking, and more stain-resistant than the traditional acrylic used at most other practices, giving you a bridge that lasts longer and looks better.
Your All-On-4® Procedure Timeline
The procedure itself typically takes four to six hours, depending on whether one arch or both arches are being treated. When you leave our office, your temporary bridges will be securely attached to your new implants. You will wear these temporary bridges for about four months while your implants integrate with your bone and your jaws and gums heal into a stable, long-term position, before your final bridges are fabricated.
Mouth Impressions
Our lab uses these impressions to create your temporary implant bridges. If you are missing all or most of the teeth in the arch being treated, a wax try-in may be used to check bite position and aesthetics beforehand.

The Procedure
Any remaining teeth are removed, implants are placed, and temporary implant bridges are attached, typically over four to seven hours.

Post-Op Appointment One
The day after your procedure, we check your healing and answer any questions you may have.

Post-Op Appointment Two
About three weeks after your procedure, sutures are removed, healing is checked, and most patients are cleared to begin using a water flosser.

Impressions for Final Teeth
About four months after your procedure, once healing is complete, impressions are taken for your final bridge.

Try-In
Five to ten days after impressions, we try in a mock-up of your final teeth. Multiple wax try-ins may be needed in some cases, and we make sure you are completely satisfied before the bridges are processed, since changes cannot be made once processing is complete. Requesting changes after approval and fabrication will result in a full-cost remake charge.

Seating Your Final Teeth
After you approve your wax try-ins, it typically takes four to six weeks before your final bridge or bridges are ready to be seated.
